Travel Plans

First, I have to apologize for not posting anything for such a long time. Why I was so busy and what I have been doing all the time will follow soon :)

The most important thing is: I have holidays now! Next week there will be no classes so I will use that time for travelling around South India with most of the other volunteers.

I'm in a bit of a hurry right now, as our car may come any minute ;) First, we'll drive to Bangalore, have a nice dinner there and then catch the nightbus today at around 10 pm to Hampi. Hampi is a beautiful city in the State of Karnataka with many old and impressive ruins and a stunning landscape. We'll stay there for two to three days and are planning to go to Goa afterwards - but nothing is set in stone yet. 

As I won't take my Laptop with me, I won't be updating my blog the next week (at least not till the weekend), but you can expect pictures and a very long post then :)

As this post is way too short, I attached a picture of me and the Elephant-headed God Ganesha. Last week was the celebration of this God, so we had this altar which was decorated beautifully with flowers, fruits and incense. Unfortunately most of it was already taken away by the time I took the picture:
